Miss Cotillion offers a week of advanced instruction in protocol and cotillion. Etiquette instruction is taught by Modeling Camp Founder and Owner, Heather Cole, who is trained and certified by The Protocol School of Washington, the internationally
recognized school of etiquette and
protocol consultants. This week serves as a perfect complement to a session of Fashion Workshop where campers have received a basic introduction to the world of social graces. The curriculum and work books used in this program are
those provided by The Protocol School of Washington, written by the renowned etiquette expert, Dorothea Johnson. The etiquette instruction given is based on tradition, social expectations and modern behavior standards. Each lesson is interactive and stresses politeness and courtesy through role playing exercises and illustrated workbooks. Young ladies
will gain the confidence and knowledge they need to handle social settings, both formal and informal, with grace and style. Through confidence, girls develop leadership skills that will last a lifetime. In addition to etiquette and manners, campers will learn the basics of ballroom dancing, a must know for every young lady. At the end of the week, campers will have their portrait taken in their formal dress of choice and capture their Miss Cotillion memories forever.
